This is Kaliopy, the rainbow dragon. You know that old wives tale about finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Well, what they don't tell you is, at the end of this rainbow is a dragon, drenched in the colors of the rainbow, guarding that pot of gold. Her name is Kaliopy. She is my submission for this contest:

[link] She was made using a pattern from Jeniffer Carson. Each of her long fingers/toes are pose able. All of her legs are jointed, and she has plastic colored rings sewn down her tail for extra affect. I needle felted wool to her forehead and to the sides of her nose. Her eyes are carved beads. She even wears a painted bead necklace. I love her so much! I hope you enjoy her as much as I do.
